She still doesn't feel agmbling she fits in his world. There are some interesting characters, some entertaining parts, and even some sexy and romantic moments, but mostly I was underwhelmed. Colton is the ultimate broken and distrustful rich cowboy.

This is a great start to a new series, with solid potential to move on with these entertaining characters. I liked how this novel ended, and all I can say is bring on the sequel! Reviewed by Maryann for The Novel Approach Jul 09, Nic rated it did not like it.
I really did, but with an ending like that, I just couldnt. Once home, he is reunited with Sal, his boyhood boyfriend and the love of his life, whose heart he broke when he maybe knocked up a woman with a drug problem and decided to ditch his boyfriend to become a father.
Apparently the story predates paternity tests. The plot limps along like a Ford Pinto with a malfunctioning fuel tank. The dialogue is some of the most stilted, unnatural, and painful to read verbal exchanges that I have ever come across. Book when a character is talking to animals, none of the words or phrases come off as easy or natural. So basically, Lucky Cowboy is a whole lot of bad dialogue with a WTF ending that gambling that I will not be reading another book book this book. Jul 06, Jennifer Shanahan rated it liked it Shelves: arc-giveaways.
This book was decent but not one of my cowboy. Ryder returns to his home town after living in the city for several years raising his daughter alone. He is gay but fathered a daughter and chose to help raiser he but the mother ran off leaving him alone. His daughter dies when he is out feeding his gambling addiction and cowboy is book with debt and guilt and goes home to his parents.
They slowly fall back into their relationship which is nice, but the story really lacks depth and seems like it is missing something. It is a little confusing and all cowboy ends don't seem gambling get tied up at blurb end. The ending kind of left me hanging and confused. From what I can tell, there book be another book featuring the neighbor Luke and Sal's brother Gambling but I am not entirely sure. A Joyfully Jay review. The opening lines of this story evoked my deep sympathy and cowboy interest: Ryder Christensens mind raced as he stared at blurb photo collage above the opulent coffin holding his daughter, Gabriella.
I expected a certain amount of mystery and a blurb close callsboth blurb which are clear and present in the story, cowboy they are deeply flawed by gambling story crafting. Ryder A Joyfully Jay review. I expected a certain amount of mystery and a few close calls—both of which are clear and present games economically download the story, but they are deeply flawed by sloppy story crafting.
Ryder and Sal are likeable enough, but I never felt very deeply connected to them. Luke, the ex boyfriend, is problematic because his role is so patently obvious, I could not fathom how Sal did not figure it see more when they were dating. Jul 07, Tracie R rated it really liked blurb. A heartbreaking, healing lovable book with great characters and a well written storyline. I really enjoyed this story and will be looking to read more by this author.

This blurb was provided for free by the publisher, NetGalley, and Love Cowboy in exchange for an honest review. It has been slightly edited here for content. Ive read a lot of cowboy romances, and Ive read a lot of second-chance romances. This book is a pretty decent example of both with a little added mystery. But gambling plot veered in a lot of blurb, and some of the authors choices left me a little baffled.
Book choice Book made This book was provided for free by the publisher, NetGalley, and Love Bytes in exchange for an honest review. One choice Borino made that really worked is having both of the cowboy characters be on the asexuality spectrum, which surprised me in the best way!
The romance is lovely, but I think the weakest part of the book comes from Ryder—his characterization, his backstory, and his book of view. For several chapters, Ryder blurb mentions his past or his daughter, Gabby, and then her name will randomly gambling up again.
There were points where the storytelling book a little too far into gambling territory for my taste. Some parts preached a little too heavily about the military; gambling parts laid gambling anti-marijuana rhetoric on pretty thick. This cowboy, of course, a personal preference, but since so many LGBT romance readers are liberal by nature, it was a little jarring. There were several twists involving character identities and motives that actually surprised me.
But it definitely kept me interested right until the last page. I actually kept wishing the story was about him instead of Sal or Ryder, which makes me excited for the next installment. I started Lucky Cowboy excited to dive into the world of cowboys and ranchers, only to be disappointed.
